Driven to drink

My mother has driven me to drink.

It’s 2:00 in the afternoon and I just cracked open a beer to calm myself down.  Mind you I am working from home and this is really against the rules.  I am justifying it by the fact that I either drink or I ponder our latest argument all afternoon.  I think drinking is far more productive.
